Rodrigo del Río Arrillaga began his formal studies in theater in 2004 along with Nora Manneck and Tomás Rojas.
In 2008 he began a bachelor’s degree in acting at the Casa del Teatro and a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy at the UNAM.
In 2014 he cofounded, along with Diego Cristian Saldaña, the collective “Los Fusilados,” which is dedicated to managing, convening, and carrying out urban artistic interventions with a critical and social focus.
As of today, this collective has done twelve interventions, two of these plays were directed by him.
In the field of theater directing he has studied with masters like David Hevia and Antonio Araujo.
He has actively collaborated as a facilitator in workshops within the TALENTUM project.
He is the cofounder of Acción Creativa Transversal y Organizada A.C. Currently, he is the assistant of Antonio Peñúñuri in his performance laboratory.
